:cool1: I have been flying them to WDW for the last year, and what a great Airline they are. The 10 times I have used them, only 1 plane was extremly late, but this past Thursday & Monday more than made up for it. :teeth: Thursday, I got to the airport about 70 min before flight time, checked thru security, and went to the boarding gate, after buying a cup of coffee and a Donut. I had an "A" boarding pass and noticed there was about 40 people in line waiting for a plane that was not there. :confused3 I sat down, drank the coffee, ate the donut, and wha-La the plane arrives....I still remained seated until they called for boarding, I was about passenger # 75 in the "A" section. Still got a good seat. :thumbsup2 On Monday, flying back, I got to MCO about 1 hour and a half, thru the doors after checking in the bags. I had a 11 am flight to FLL. ;) I got thru security, about 10 min, and went to the McDonalds to get a breakfast. ;) It was about 10:00am by this time, and I sat on a bench away from the gate area to eat it...about 10:30 am I amde my way to the gate area (121) and low and behold, there was NO-ONE in line! :confused3 However, the sign said flight *** Boarding NOW!!! :scared1: I thought Whoa, they are sure early...come to find out, they were! I had a "C" boarding letter this time, and didn't wait at all, sat all they way in the back, and was back in FLL by 12 Pm. :thumbsup2

I totally agree. We've been flying SW from PHL/MCO for about two years now and we love them. They certainly have the best customer service in the industry.....not to mention the best prices. And their planes are among the nicest I've been on. We also have only had one bad experience and that was weather related. Our plane was there, but, weather in PHL was bad and the FAA/control tower in PHL was really limiting landings/takeoffs so we couldn't leave MCO until limits were lifted. So, we were about 3 hrs late leaving MCO, which did make for a very late night when we got to PHL at 11:00 p.m. since we then had a 2 hr drive home.

Donna-
We are leaving out of PHL for MCO on Dec. 17 (a Sunday). The flight is at 10:30am. How early do you think we (Me,DH,DD4) need to arrive at PHL in order to park car in economy, go thru security, and get to the SW gate? We flew out of PHL in Feb. and it was great. No waiting thru security and we had plenty of time to relax at the gate, but we flew US Airways then. This is our first time flying SW and I'm terrified of getting bumped! I guess I have watched Airline too many times. :rotfl: (I have no idea why, not that big of a deal, except DD is the MOST IMPATIENT child EVER!!) As long as I check in online 24 hours prior to flight we should be ok right? (Maybe get an A ticket? :wizard: ) Or is there still a chance at the airport we could be way back in line and still get bumped with an A ticket?

Please put my worries to rest. Thanks in advance!
