Another Gift Help Thread-Recent College Grad

I am stuck. My nephew is 22 and a recent college grad. He works for the state legislature and is also going to grad school. I have no idea what to get him. I don't want to get him clothes since I don't know what size he wears plus I'm sure clothes are not his first choice. I also don't want to get him a gift card.

I thought about some type of kitchen thing-a-ma-jig from say Target but I can't think of anything specific. I thought maybe a fondue set but then that seemed too girly. He likes to watch sports and he likes to travel.

Also there is a $25 limit although I don't mind going a bit over.

hmm, 22 yr old guy? I am presuming single and living on his own...

I would probably theme my gift around food. A couple of ideas:

Maybe a fancy pasta and sauce, olive oil, wooden spoon or other kitchen utensil, packaged in a pot rather than a basket.

Movie basket- Blockbuster gift card, popcorn, candy, new release action dvd packaged in a popcorn bowl.

Dinner and a movie- gift cards to restaurant and movie theater

eta: thought of another... beer! 4 sixpacks of various microbrews in a small ice tub or cooler.

My son is 20 and in college. He is sharing a house with another guy. Last year I bought him a set of luggage which he loves. Now I know that a set of luggage is way more than you want to spend but how about a piece of luggage? There are some great deals out there right now.

This year one of the gifts we are giving our son is an electric skillet. He has an old set of cookware of ours and we thought an electric skillet would be a good addition to his kitchen utensils.
