Another Gay Days tix question

Hey all!
I was just reading about the Gay Days tickets, and it sounds like I might be able to purchase those for my family even though we won't be there for the convention. The way I'm reading it, the tickets are good from Oct. 3-16, is that correct? So I would be able to use them for my trip the 9-14?

My main concern is if I have to activate the tickets DURING the official convention, Oct. 3-4. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Also, are there a lot of families still celebrating Gay Days after the official convention is over? I've always wanted to go, and we always seem to have plans that weekend, so it would be cool if the celebration continues. If so I'll be sure to pack some red shirts for myself, DH and DD3!

There is no restriction as to when it needs to be activated, only that it needs to be done within 10/3-10/16. You should be fine even though the weekend will be over.

You are correct, you can use them for any of the valid dates on the tickets. They don't have to be activated within the actual convention.

The site says the ticket store closes 10/4 at 9:00 PM PST. But I probably wouldn't wait quite that long, as you never know if the site could go down, etc....

Thanks! Oh gosh, I wouldn't wait that long. I thought there was a thread here earlier that said they might not be available after this week. I just need a few more days!
