Another FW question (re: HDDR)

We've finally booked HDDR for one of our ressies and I'm so excited. Question though: is there a heavy presence of mosquitos at FW? I know mosquitos are supposedly everywhere, but I've never seen or got bitten by one at the resorts or parks, but being FW is in a more woodsy area maybe they're more there?

Also anyone know what time the show will end and what time things like the campfire will begin? If there's a large gap in time, we'll just go back to the Poly and swim

We've stayed at Fort wilderness 3 times, and go there at least 2 or 3 times every trip for fireworks on the beach, eat at Trail's End, or see holiday decorations on a golf cart. We've never had to deal with mosquitoes. Disney does an amazing job of controlling pests.

The campfire usually begins at 7:00. What time is your Hoop-De-Doo show? You'll have to take the bus internally from the Settlement Stop for the HDDR to the Meadows for the campfire, singalong and movie.

Which HDDR show did you book?
The dinner lasts just about 2 hours.
I have never seen a mosquito at FW.

I believe we have the 6:15 show and by the sounds of it, it'll be too late for the campfire?

WDW does a great job with mosquitoes, but a lot depends on how the weather has been. The only time we noticed mosquitoes was when it had been raining a day or so (not just the afternoon rain) and the ground is very moist.

what time things like the campfire will begin?

The Campfire/sing along starts at 8 for the summer months then moves to 7 during the fall and winter, depending on when you will be there, then the movie starts at 8:40.
We have camped at the Fort several times and have never been bothered by any mosquitoes or any other bugs.
