Another FP+ question

I have been reading up on the threads on FP+ questions but I don't see the answer to my question. Which is if DS(10) wants to meet Mickey at Town Square and as normal Parents would want to watch, but not be in the photos would that cost 3 FP? Would we be allowed with him or would he be expected to go in on his own? I only have 2 weeks to sort out what we want before our booking date!!!!

If all 3 of you are in line, all 3 will need a FP+.

I don't know if you'd want to let him go alone? My DS is 9, and I'd probably consider letting him go solo for a meet & greet. It's a controlled environment, and there are photographers there to capture it for you. You could wait for him at the exit.

It's not ideal, but maybe worth a thought.

Jumping in here with a similar question...DS won't want to meet Anna & Elsa...so if I went w/dd, we'd need 2 for a&e and then DH and DS could still have a fp+ somewhere else at some other time??
