when i pick the attractions i want do all members of my group have to take them or can i choose say 2 members then go back and do the other members since we may not all want the same FP

You can select whoever you want at the start of the process. If everybody wants to do at least one of the three it can be easier to book all three for everybody and then go back and "change attraction" for the ones you want to change.
