My 60 day window opens in 4 days. I have already linked my room reservations and tickets, so I can "see" FP+'s that are available for the next 30 days.

Is is possible to (for example) go make 3 FP+ reservations for next week for attractions like Small world, Monsters, etc. and practice moving times and such as long as I then cancel them 10 minutes later? Will this mess up my ability to get my real FP+ in any way?

I would like to know what I am doing before I have to do it "for real", but not at the expense of causing problems. Thanks!

Yes, because you have active tickets, go ahead and practice. You can schedule and cancel as many times as you like so you will be confident when your "real" booking experience opens up.

Have you been able to mess with them for a while. My 60 day will be ready to go feb 3 but when I go to FP+ it says we have no tickets. Verbatim it says "needs park admission" although when we see our reservations (still in MDE) the tickets show. Is this normal? I was thinking once the window opens the FP options would pop up? This happen to anyone else!?

The OP has active tickets. You have a package and can't practice because your tickets are not active. Your tickets become active when you check in.

So how can I pick our Fast Pass choices then? We didn't have this issue last year. I was able to see a calendar but it wouldn't let me get into calendar day until my 60 days. I'm confused. Are you saying I will not be able to pick my FP choices at the 60 day mark?

Your FP 60 day window will open because you have a "package." The OP has a room only and active tickets.

If you have a package, the tickets will show at 60 days.

Okay! Thanks for the clarification! Makes sense! I e been stressing a little because like I said, last year when I got into FP+ (it was last March so VERY new into the non testing phase) I could see a calendar and I could get into the FP section of MDE.

It was explained in the FP Thread. The 60 day window opens in one of two ways:

1. Room-only + active tickets

2. Package Reservation (room + inactive tickets - the tickets activate when you check in)

FP FAQs like yours are discussed in the green link in my signature. I recently bolded the portion you are asking about because it is asked so often. ;)

I read that link and understood (also follow the FP suggestions). But still second guessed because as I mentioned I was able to do it last year. I hate how disney changes stuff so often Worrying and Kinda scary waiting until 60 days and then finding out it won't let me in because I really want mine train!

I try to keep it up to date. :goodvibes

Without you my soon to be third Spring break/Easter trip would be a bust! You were seriously one of the most helpful persons I met when I booked my first trip! I can only imagine how my trip would of been had I not stumbled upon this site! Hopefully I didn't come across rude!

Thank you! I'm off to play! I have 8 people in my party and they want to do some of the same FP's and some different so I have a lot to figure out.
