Another first timer questions...tickets/ID

What do you get when you check in? Do you get a room key, park tickets, and a charge card/resort id? Or is it all in one? Do you get one per group or one per person? How are children handled? Do they put your picture on it?

If you're purchasing a package, you'll get your room key & tickets on one card that has your name on it. Each member of your party gets their own room key. The CM will ask you if you want to put a credit card on file. If you do, your room key will be coded as a charge card as well - $500 at value, $1000 at moderates, $1500 at deluxes are the limits for charging.

Anyone 3 and older will get their own room key/tickets with their name on it. You can have the kids' cards coded not for charging.

You'll also get some guides on WDW, a map of the resort, a parking pass if you have a car, and a newsletter that the resorts produce.

Everything stated by OB is correct. Your room key card if it contains your ticket is also used in the parks to obtain a fastpass for rides so keep it handy when your enter the parks.

Where do you normally keep the tickets? Are they worn around your neck or kept in wallet/backpack with your cash?

We keep them in the waist (or fanny) packs that we wear in the parks. They are good for holding items such as sunglasses that you will not need in the attractions that are indoors. We also keep band aids just in case and aspirin, maybe sunscreen and assoted small items like that. We figure it's better to have these items handy rather than have to back to the room if we should need something.

there are a variety of options to hold your cards:

1. fanny pack or other sort of bag
2. wallet
3. plastic pouch on a lanyard

just don't punch a hole on them.
