Another filming on the Wonder

We recently sailed on the 3 day wonder and they were filming an episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I believe they redo your house and send you away for a few days while they renovate. We were asked to sign releases before boarding. Keep a eye out for this episode, I believe it airs on Sundays ABC.

The one show that I watched sent the family to WDW for the week. Guess the cruise would be another option. They will probably just show shots of the family enjoying the cruise & being updated with what is happening at their house.

It is a good show. Last night they sent the family to WDW and they stayed in a villa at Boardwalk while they worked on their house. So far they have picked very worthy families to be a part of the show. Last night's family was a young single mom who is a social worker with adopted children and sometimes foster children. You could tell they had very little to live on, but they had a lot of love.

We really enjoy it. I will be on the look out for previews showing them on the DCL. They really do not show very much of the part where the family is on vacation, usually it has to do with giving them 'clues' as to what is going on at their house while they are gone. This week the family was dining at Jiko at AKL when they received blueprints (shredded) of what was being done to their house. They were trying to find little pieces to put together to see what was happening. Anyway, it is a cute show.

we were in aft cabin7138 andthey did a lot of filming on that little aft overlook next to our cabin. they peek over a couple times to see what we were doing, talk etc.. very nice crew they were there most of the day at sea (CC day that we did not make)

they said some "movie" was being taped. We saw nothing. When we first got to the terminal and were getting all the paperwork etc, we were told there was a movie, but no one could say what it was (not sure if they knew and were not allowed to say or they really didn't know). One woman did say that the last cruise had a taping of "some reality show" that she didn't know the name of.

Makes sense now, extreme makeover is a reality program. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what reality show would be taping on a cruise ship!!

We were on the 4 day Wonder feb. 29 right after the 3 day mentioned above and saw the same crew. They were filming a couple and one on the crew had a tag on that said Extreme Makeover home edition. She acted funny when we mentioned it and said they were filming something else. We'll see.

My guess is because we missed CC and I know that was a big deal to them herd them talking... anyway because we missed it my guess is they kept a camera crew back to stay and get some film of CC and then they are gonna edit it in... Just my guess and thats prob why they did not want anyone to kn0w who they were and think it was not "real time" when it airs

I was on that cruise and never knew that there was a camera crew. Wow, was I blind to this or what?

yep sherr they were filming everywhere on the 27th the day we werein nassau and the 28th the day we missed CC

They were shooting the sail away party right next to us from deck 10. I had my ds5 standing on one of the chairs to see the party and they asked if he could be moved for a couple moments. It was cool.

Isn't it pretty funny, my family was running into the TV crew everywhere and some people never saw them. We were asked to sign a release, did they just do that randomly? There were about 3 kids in the family and one was in a wheel chair. the crew seemed to follow them around everywhere.
