Another EMH question

I know there have been alot of EMH threads. Can someone tell me, do you need a wrist band for the extra magic hours? Or do you just show your resort key to prove that you are staying on property.

It it's morning EMH you just have to show your resort card when you enter. If you are there for evening EMH you have show your card so you can get a wristband. You have to have a wristband to stay for evening EMH.

We also got wristbands with EMH at Typhoon Lagoon for an am early entry. I almost felt a little sad when the regular guest started arriving and they had the paths to the pools and stuff roped off until the official opening time. You could only get past if you had an armband. I think I would have been upset if I were a regular guest and was let in the gate but couldnt get to the water.

Yes, you can go to the park at regular closing time and show your card and they will give you a wristband. If you are already in the parks, there will be designated areas where you can go and get your wristbands throughout the park.

Yes. Anytime during that three hour period of EMH you can get your wristband.

This is just my experience but each time I have done AM EMH, the Cast Members were not asking anyone to show thier KTTW cards. So don't be surprised if that does not happen.

They start giving out wristbands 2 hours prior to the extra hours (although at our last MK EMH on Sunday, they were handing them out 3 hours prior). I really recommend getting them early, since the line can get very long near and just after regular closing time.

Last Spring my family and I were there and used the EMH evening a LOT! They are wonderful! Just be sure to bring your room key

Expect that anyone one who is under 3 does not get a room key, which is something everyone should know if they are doing PM EMH. While this may not apply to the OP it could for other families with kids who are under the age of 3.
