Another early check in ?

My family and I will be staying at the BWV in early Aug. We will be checking in from a 4 day stay at Coronado Springs. I know Disney will move our bags and store them for us. I don't mind, or ever care if takes till 4 or 5 o'clock for my room to be ready. What I’d like to do is avoid the rush at check in time. Could I go early in the morning check-in, ( get a room assignment, hook my credit card to my room key, ect.) and just come back some time after 4 or 5 when the room is ready? That way when I come back at 4 or 5 and want to get ready for dinner I will not have to go through the process of check-in.

Will BWV do this?

As far as I know, they all will let you do it. We have checked in around lunchtime at both SSR and BCV. They took us through the usual process, except we also got a card with the resort phone number on it to call after 4pm to find out what our room number was. We already had the room keys, but they were activated after the actual room was assigned. We did not have to go back to the check-in desk...

Just to confirm for the OP--I stay at BWV all the time, usually check in about 10 and they do exactly what fletch said. Every now and then I am uber lucky and the room is ready, but most of the time I have to call for the actual room # later in the day.

Yes you can check in any time after about 7am and get all your stuff...ie tickets, ddp.
BTW....you can do this at any WDW resort.
