Another dumb packing question

We leave tomorrow for our Land/Sea vacation and I was doing some packing and have a quick question. I know I have traveled several times with the increased security but I'm just drawing a blank on this one - can my husband put his razor (not electric) in the carry-on or will the airlines make him take it out? Maybe I should just put it in the checked luggage - does anyone know for sure?

I would keep it in the checked baggage to be sure. I doubt they'd care much about it there.

Thanks! I agree and think I had kind of answered my own question. And it's just a regular razor, he may be hairy but not THAT hairy!
