Another donut question (inspired by Dalhound)

If you get the free donut at KK when the Hot Light is on, do you feel obligated to then buy other donuts?

The only time we were near a KK when the light was on we were going to just buy 2 donuts to eat there. Then they gave us the free donuts so we felt obligated to buy a dozen to take home. No that we didn't enjoy them but I didn't need that many.

Free doughnut when the light is on? When the red light goes on at our local KK, it just means the doughnuts are hot off the presses.

Seems to be hit or miss at my KK (I thought if the light was on it meant they had hot fresh doughnuts???) Anyway, I treat that one as the bonus doughnut, enjoy it on the spot and still buy the dozen, but then again, I always buy a dozen KKs!

Well our KK is fairly new to this area, so they always give out the complimentary, and I'm never one to turn away anything free specially hot KK's. But we are usually there to get some for the kids anyway. I dont feel obligated atall. What could that cost? really not much, but with one freebie you take the chance of hooking another life long Krispy Kreamer! Im sure its worth it in their eyes. Those corporate donut geniouses!

We don't stop just for the free one.....ours always seems to be giving them out when we are there.
So...we buy our other....if we're out shopping (usually DD and myself), we get one more each (if we buy more...we just will eat them ).
