I know the semi-annual sale should be coming up soon. Does anyone know the date it will start?

I need some extra treats for our August trip. Last time I got t-shirts and PJ's and put them, secretly, in the kids suitcases. My, then 6yo, nearly had a heart attack when she opened the suitcase and saw a bag with Cinderella on it. A magic moment for me that needs to be repeated.

For what it's worth, the Vaughn Mills store is a great place to buy bits and pieces. The manager there runs a mailing list and sends out notes about hot items on clearance and stuff. If you go there, ask to be put on his list.

Last time we were out there, they had tees for $7 (if I remember correctly) with a 50% discount for that day only. Some guy had probably 20 tees in his bag.

I also recall discontinued mugs (Mickey, Tink, Pooh, Eeeyore, etc.) for $1.50, and ball caps for $1.50.

Jim.

I've heard that VM is really good but I live out in the west end and It would take me about 45-60 minutes to get there. With the price of gas right now I'm trying hard to not take an extra trips so I'm sure that what I would save in the store I would spend in gas to get there.

Aww, I feel for ya! I lived in Windsor for 4 years and hated the lack of Disney Stores :( Detroit would be way closer to get a DS fix if you don't mind crossing the border.

I actually do go over there a fair amount, especially now with the dollar doing so well. But the problem is I can never find a disney store when I am over for the day.

The Disney store at Square One in Mississauga had a sale on Mother's Day and I would assume it ran for a few weeks. Most things were 25 to 50 percent off. I got DD a new bathing suit at 25% off and there were those cute little princess doll sets for about 75% off!! Beach towels about 35% off etc.. I even got a cute Mickey T-shirt for $3.50!!!

Here's a list of all the Disney Stores in Michigan: http://www.childrensplace.com/webap...reId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&state=MI

And here's a link to the main US search page for Disney Stores: http://www.childrensplace.com/webap...cator?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1

Hope this helps someone :)

We go to Vaughan Mills -- they have different stuff from the regular Disney stores at times and you can get some really good deals. We live in the east end of the city and it's not too bad of a drive to the west end to Vaughan Mills. This week some of the tshirts are going to be $3.99 - adult and kids. Can't resist that!

DS's girlfriend works at Square One so she usually tells me when the sales are coming up. Forgot to ask her last night if they were having any soon. Next time I see her I'll ask.
