i was curious if you can book the plan with dining if you have an annual pass? because it seems as if you must buy tickets for it to be considered a package. getting the dining plan on a package sounds like such a hassel. i was always under the impression that if you already had tickets and a hotel room when you arrived at the resort you would be able to add the dining plan on. im sorry im a wee bit confused :confused3 thank you for your patience!

No you book the dining with your vacation package, not at the hotel. Also be aware they have a numerous amount of epcot, and Downtown Disney dining venues that are now in pending mode on whether they will allow the dining plan again in 2007, or not. That is going to limit your dining plan choices by a great amount as far as world showcase, and downtown.

thank you... i am so spoiled because i have only done the dining when it was free in 2005! and i did it through expedia (how i normally book my vacations). but it looks as if they DO NOT do the dining plan normally. i am interested in getting an annual pass next year though and if anyone has any information i would still like to know if the DDP can be added to a room if you have an AP. THANKS! :sunny:

You sure can be an AP holder and get the dining plan. BUT, you still have to purchase the package stay from Disney and that includes tickets. So you'll wind up with an extra ticket for your stay.
