Let's say I take 20 pictures on my camera and I want to save them to a disk, I put them on a CD-RW and then I take 20 pictures again and want to save those say a week later. When I go to put them on the same CD-RW how do I know they won't be placed over the other 20??
When the CD-RW is full, do I then transfer them to a CD-R??
I haven't figured out how to put them on a disk yet!!

Thanks again

As long as the file names are different, you won't have any problems. Your camera should have a numbering system which in turn will be the default file name. When you add files to a CD-RW you will be able to see what files are already on it. It will write new files to the empty space.

When the CD-RW is full, do I then transfer them to a CD-R??
When the CD-RW is full, you can make a copy of it to a CD-R, and reuse the CD-RW if you like.

I guess it depends on why your putting them on a CD in the first place.

I just purchased two memory keys that hold 128MB of data (I think they sell larger ones too). I find it cheaper to use those than to buy CD-RWs and they are compact. Once it gets full, I either burn the data down to a CD-R or just add it to my hard drive. CD-RWs can get scratched and that's why I chose the keys instead. If I want to print out of some pictures at the Photo mat, I just bring the key (no disks) and stick it in their computer and VOILA!

It's just another option. But what denman007 says is absoulutely correct.
