Another CRT PS Question!!

Hi All!

I am so close now to being at my 90 day mark and will be having a go at the end of the week at booking the elusive CRT.

I have a few dates in mind, and will call all the time until I get that PS!

But my query is this - the first day that we will be free to visit the MK is a Thursday, which I understand is early entry for onsite guests. We are staying offsite - is it worth me even trying for a PS - or will we get turned away at the gate if the PS is before 9am?

I have read so many threads about booking this, and they all advise to just say to the CM "whatever time is available". Should I say "after 9am"??

Or do the PS's for CRT on early entry days go even faster, and its not worth bothering??

Any advice will be welcome!!

Lorraine, it doesnt matter if its an early entry day or even if the park isnt open at time of your PS. When you get to the gate, proceed to the far left and you will see someone holding a banner with "Character Breakfasts" on it (or it might say Priority seatings, I forget). Next to that will be someone with a clipboard, give them your name and PS number and they will then guide you to a turnstile where you will be admitted. This is a HUGE perk of an early PS as there is NOTHING like walking round a nearly empty Magic Kingdom!! Obviously, this will only be the case if it ISNT an EE day!! The photographers are all out and its the perfect time to get a family photo done with no-one else in the picture!! We were lucky enough one year to find Mickey and Minnie waiting at the end of Main St...there was no-one else around and DD just ran into their arms like on the adverts!!

I find when booking a PS for CRT its best NOT to specify a time at first. Just ask for "Cinderellas Royal table breakfast, party of xxx, any available time". Agree to anything given and then you can always amend it when you get your confirmation number. Its not unheard of for CRT to sell out within 2 minutes of the lines opening, so negotiating a specific time, just reduces your chances!! I think CRT is now a lot easier to get since they introduced the Credit Card Ressie rule. It stopped a lot of people who were selling PSs on or obtaining them for others.

Good luck!! I hope you are lucky!

Hi lorraine:wave:

Im not sure where i read it now but i can remember reading that you just say 'the first PS available for xxx people'

Thanks guys for the replies.

Im so nervous!!!

This is the one thing Ive promised my DD (before I found these boards and realise how difficult they are to get)!!!!

We only want a table for two - my DF and DS are not so keen on meeting the princesses! Will this make it easier or harder? I thought we'd breeze through, as we would stand a better chance than big families trying to sit together - but Im sure Ive read somewhere that couples are sat on tables for 4 anyway - so is it going to be just as difficult?

Thanks again,

Lorraine

Yes, you are right Lorraine, there is nothing smaller than a table for 4, so it wont harm your chances to get a table for 4 rather than 2.

Once again, good luck!!

Allie

how do you find out the early entry days for the parks? does anyone have a link for anywhere please?

lucy (the question miester) :Pinkbounc

Note: The parks routinely open 1/2 hour prior to the stated opening time on the schedules, this means you can get in the parks 90 minutes in advance.
