Hey everyone. So our 180 is coming up fast. 7/31. I think I've narrowed down our plans, but need to know if this seems doable. We will be on the dining plan and going in late January. 2 adults 1 two year old. We have a few full days, resort breaks and the rest half days. We have backup plans just in case we can't get the ones we want.

Fri- arrive to resort (OKW) by Magical Express around 3 ish(giving myself around 1.5 hours to get there after flight)

Planning on spending an evening at Disney Springs. Not really sure where we want to eat yet. Is it possible to leave this open ended and pick a place once we are there? Should I make an ADR just to be safe?

Saturday- Magic Kingdom Day
BOG breakfast PPO (hopefully)
Resort rest
BOG dinner (is the experience completely different from breakfast to dinner?) Should we book something else?

Sunday- EPCOT afternoon/evening
Ohana at 9/9:30 am
QS in EPCOT for dinner

Monday
Animal Kingsom Morning until 1 or 2
QS yak n yeti (should we do Flame Tree I've heard great things about both)
Olivia's at resort for dinner around 5pm.

Tuesday-
HOllywood Studios
Cape May Dinner at 6:30 ish

Wednesday- Animal Kingdom afternoon evening.
Chef Mickeys at 10/10:30 then head to animal kingdom.
Tusker House Dinner at 5ish.
(To many characters?? We could switch it to Rainforest Cafe or Yak n Yeti. We Re just trying to diversify our food this trip)

Thursday- Last Day Magic Kingdom
All quick service

Is this too many characters for a 2 year old? Open to suggestions!!

As for Be Our Guest, I have heard that breakfast is overpriced, so you're literally paying only for the experience. If you already have it planned for dinner, I would pick something else for breakfast. It's a great restaurant, I really enjoyed my lunch there, but I wouldn't go two times in one day.

I have no idea what two year olds like, but depending on how much you eat/how full you stay, two buffets in one day might be too much. Otherwise, your plans look fine to me. :) Ohana is supposed to be great for breakfast!

Enjoy your time there!

Very true...didn't even think about two buffets in one day. That very well may be too much.

And yes we LOVE Ohana breakfast!! It was a must do from last trip! Thanks for the reply!!

Since you won't arrive until afternoon, I wouldn't make an arrival night ADR ahead of time. Your flight could very well be delayed. But you could make an ADR as soon as you arrive at MCO, before you even get on the bus.

I like BOG, and the breakfast is so ridiculously expensive that it's a real bargain on the DDP. but twice in one day is a bit much. I'd split these up and do one on your second MK day.

And I agree that 2 buffets in one day is too much. And the characters are pretty much the same. I'd ditch TH and do Yak & Yeti for dinner. On your first AK day, do Flame Tree instead of the Yak & Yeti CS (which is pretty awful IMO).

Yup exactly what I was thinking. Maybe we'll do Crystal Palace for breakfast and just pay OOP for a meal at Disney Springs the first night. And I love the idea of booking it when we get off the plane. That's a good plan.

I just talked to the hubs and we ate at BOMA last trip and have heard TH and BOMA are pretty similar so Yak n Yeti would be something new for us.

I agree with the others. I would not do 2 buffets in one day.
I would definitely do Flame Tree over Yak & Yeti CS. WE enjoy the TS Yak & Yeti a lot, and go most trips,
There are many new QS options now in DS. You could find something to eat that way on your arrival night. Wolfgang Express at the Marketplace gets rave reviews here. I also like the look of the new DLuxe Burger, I think in Town Center. If you did QS you would not need an ADR/
Good Luck

I would bump that BOG breakfast to the last day instead.

Or do the Crystal Palace that first day.

Very, very true!! Also a QS dinner might be just the thing for a two year old who has spent the day traveling. Haha! Great to hear about your experience with Yak n Yeti. We looked at the menu last night and it seems right up our alley.

Yeah Crystal Palace was the original plan, since we had such a great PPO experience back in 2010. But we were thinking of BOG for a more relaxed feel. But maybe if we can get an early enough ADR for Crysyal Palace that might be the way to go.
