We just spent a wonderful time at HHI and apparently left at the right time (last Friday at 10:30am to travel the 20 hours home). The weather was absolutely beautiful for the entire week, which compares favorably to 2 snowfalls and an earthquake here at home...

And, we are converts. We're adding on at HHI - just called our rep today to confirm that the points were still available. It's not a large add-on, but enough to spend a comfortable 6 days every couple of years. And I didn't even have to twist DH's arm! He loves the place - just his pace, which is relaxed.

We only did two formal activities - the dolphin tour (we saw about 30 dolphins, including one about 5 feet off the bow), and the unbirthday party for the kids. The amazing thing about the unbirthday party was that the cast member who ran the party remembered my son's name every time that he saw him after that, even several days later. I was so impressed!

We also rented bikes - $60 for the week, which included 2 adult bikes, a child's bike, and a bike seat for the toddler. My daughter (5yo) rode all the way to the beach house, which was the highlight of her trip.

With two small kids, we ate lot of Guiseppe's take-out in the apartment, but did get to the Old Oyster Factory, which was outstanding. Kingfisher's was convenient but not as delicious.

What a great place! We also unfortunately had to take advantage of the medical clinic on the island because DS got swimmer's ear, but even that was a good experience - quick, convenient, and professional.

We can't wait to go back!!!

Any questions, feel free to ask.

Glad you had a great time! We did a sight unseen add-on last August, and made our first (short) trip down in February. I fell in love with the place and was so glad we added on! Enjoy your new "home"!
