Another Contemporary lobby renovation update

Tonight when my family and I got back we spoke with a manager of the Contemporary and he told us tomorrow morning at 5:30 AM the statue of Mickey & Walt is going to be taken away for a period of time and be on display at Disney MGM Studios.

Besides that next week part of the check-in desk is going to be closed, so their going to start renovating around there.

I am having fun. I just went to the Magic Kingdom for a 2nd time with one of my friends who lives in Orlando and it was great seeing Wishes in the Magic Kingdom and hearing the music. While it's fun watching it from our room at the Contemporary, seeing it in the park is completley different.

We just got back from WDW and saw the renovations going on at the
Contemporary....

Still trying to see if we can figure out the outcome.....Sort of wish they
had a small scale version of what is to come.

We miss the upstairs are where they decided to put the old store in the middle of the room and made the store into the kids arcade which is nice.....

Looking forward to whats to come.

That picture of what the new store is going to look like, is amaizing. I can't wait until December to see if it's finished because a Cast Member working at the Sundries store said it should be completed by the 1st week, if nothing major goes wrong.

Mehh...looks ok... not sure if it fits in the Contemporary theme...I'd be more worried if they are going to fill this store with the exact same stuff you can get all over Disney....which seems to the the norm now.

I would assume the new store would be selling the merchandice that was sold in the Fantasia store which more towards kids. They already have the Bay View Gifts store, which sells the items for adults and some Contemporary items. So they would be going back to the way things use to be done, by having two seperate stores.
