Another code question

Has anyone ever paid in full (45 days in advance)-got to your resort and before you check in ask to have a code applied? What do you think would happen?

But the resort check-in cannot adjust the rate. That has to be done with central reservations by phone.

they will apply the refund to your credit card account. I did it last year.

So, it would be worth asking? Haven't had any luck over the phone so far.
