Another Christmas booking question (@ BLT)

Hello. As excited as I am for the arrival of our new bundle of joy, my due date is floating around my 11 month booking window for Christmas 2015. We are planning a trip the week before Christmas and would like to stay at our home resort, BLT. My question is, do the 2-bed theme park views go right at 8 am 11 months out, or if I missed it by a day would I have a chance? I'm assuming that a 2-bed lake view would still be available if I miss booking by a few days from 11 months. Thoughts?

Since there is no penalty for booking, except from borrowing points and 30 day limit, you should just book and decide later. I don't own BLT but I was able to get a 1BR for Christmas 2014 by logging in early at 7 month. Then I stand by my missing 2 nights and got them about 1 month later. So you should be ok until 7 month window opens up. But just book and hold a room just in case anyway.

For week before Christmas, you should have a few days within the 11 month window to book TP view. Lake view could still be open even at 7 months out. Standard view will likely disappear quickly once online reservations start 11 months out.

Would there be anyone you trust that could make the reservation for you online the day of your 11 month? Parent, best friend, etc?

Just a thought, so that you don't have to worry about it....

Have to do what you have to do! Before online booking, I made calls from some strange places. My mom was getting a chemo treatment at the hospital and I stepped out to find a pay phone, back then you couldn't use cell phones in hospitals. Another time I stepped out of the room before my aunt's funeral to call DVC (not during the funeral, before it started).

To me - this seems like a good reason to walk a vacation...that way you have the first few days locked in...
