Belle developed a hot spot when she was boarded this last time. She's on an antibiotic & a steroid now, poor dear.

Thank you. It's a long recovery, well 2-3 weeks of meds. They taper off after the first intense period, 5 days. Today's the 5th day. I printed out a schedule, so we get it right.

I do. I do not blame them in any way. When we got Belle last year, after 2 days with us, she developed a hot spot. I think she just doesn't know that she hasn't been abandoned. John is the owner of the kennel, he has treated our dogs well. We still remember our Buster with tears in our eyes when we chat together.

You guys are the best! The vet's office called today to see how she is doing. I think it's getting better. I told them I would call back on Thursday and that's when I would decide if I wanted the vet to see her again.

Thanks. The vet put a wrap & foul tasting stuff in the bandage. Belle will eat anything. If she still bothers the sore, we will have to put a collar on her. Right now it's 50-50 as to whether that will be needed.
