Another Cash Deposit for Charging ?

This is probably an incredibly dumb question, but if you put a cash deposit to charge against during your stay, do you get a clear receipt at check-in that you have just given them the cash?

I just want to make sure that when I leave the check-in desk, I will have a hard copy that I have put a deposit down.

I know I could just give them the CC and then pay cash at the end, but that would give me too much leeway to go on an unplanned shopping spree

I pay cash, I even put cash on my ressies before I arrive, it is one way it helps me save for my spending money, and at anytime I can go to the resort front desk and they will give me a print out of what I have spent! I love having my trip and spending all paid for when I go to Disney....no bills when I get home!
