Another car seat question

Hi everyone

We have plans on taking a cab to Boma for breakfast (from WL) the morning we visit AK. Do all cabs come equipped with a car seat or is that something I would need to request beforehand? I wouldnt feel safe traveling without it for my 3 year old.

Your best bet would be to bring your child's car seat along with you.

IIRC cabs are exempt from child passenger safety laws. Some cab companies have them as loaners but it probably won't be the same as yours and therefore you'd be unfamiliar with it and its proper use and you won't know its history (has it been invovled in an accident?)...and then there's the skeeve factor...how clean will it be?

Then there's the possibility that the cab company does have one as a loaner or the driver forgets to bring it.


Too many possibilities so I suggest you have your own.
