Another California Grill dress code question

We will be traipsing around MK all day long before our 9pm reservation at California Grill in 3 weeks. Some of us will probably opt for shorts and close-toed hiking/walking “sandals” with all of that walking, and wanting to avoid sloshy/squishy shoes and socks after a water ride or rain storm. Is this acceptable dress for California grill? We are staying at the WL, so it would be a major time commitment to go from MK to WL to change, then back to the contemporary, so I of course would love to avoid that. Thoughts?

Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements:
Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.
Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.
Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.

You will be fine.

I think you will be fine - no problem with shorts or the shoes you describe. The only things I've seen them enforce is no hats at the table, tees with offensive language, and no tank tops on men (they actually have some long-sleeved button-up shirts available to borrow -- or did pre-COVID). Sure, some people will be on the dressier side but as long as you're comfortable with what you're wearing I don't think you'll have a problem. Enjoy!

You'll be fine. You will see a wide range of dress at Cali Grill from park attire to sports coats and cocktail dresses.

The dress code is very simplistic. Most park attire is fine. You’re good.

No problems with that. There will be people dressed fancier than that, but there will also be people in park clothes.

The dress code really doesn't seem to be enforce unless you are trying to come in wearing a swim suit.
We have been more times than I can count, and seen everything from shorts and t-shirt to black tie.
We go in business casual and never feel out of place.

Agree with this. We dined there on Monday evening. Dress varied across all spectrums. By the way, food and service was outstanding. Enjoy! 😊
