Hi Barb.

room service tips.
smoothies for your DS (we limited our kids to one at dinner only)
arcade cards (our DS was allowed $10 per day)

If you have daughters hair braiding?

Taxi fare in ports added up to a lot for us...but we were a group of 5.

Cash for drinks at the airport if you want coffee or your son wants a soda...that's not much, but make sure to have some bills with you if you are primarily using traveller's checks.

Money for porters at the end of the trip. (I think they recommended $2.00 per bag.)

Barb~ Here's some other things to consider:

You may want to buy your son a soda sticker/mug for the week- $35. The sticker goes on the KTTW ward & you get the souveneir mug. This way he can get drinks while he's not with you.

The pictures can be a real budget breaker, watch out. We averaged $200 each previous cruise, as we couldn't bear to leave them behind!

If you want to email home figure out if the unlimited access $89.95, or .75 a minute ( they add up fast) is cheaper for you.

Bingo ~ I forget how much it is per card. You son may want to play with you & it adds up... I won $300 playing last cruise~ never played before either, so I let my daughter buy as many cards as she wanted to play. I spent about $100 on bingo cards on our last cruise. The last day the jackpot is pretty big. They do it in the WD Theatre.

Castaway Key rentals - floats, banana boat, kayak, snorkel gear- can add up. They have a package you can buy, but it's non refundable if you decide you don't want to use all the stuff. Go a la carte...

Dry Cleaning- is expensive, but it sure beats standing in line to press your clothes in that hot laundry room. I spent $50. Had all our dress clothes pressed on the 1st day of the cruise & didn't worry about it after that.

Bring seabands, dramameine, and pain relievers like Advil with you. Very expensive on the ship if you need them. If unopened, you can return them to your CVS when you come home. I carry them as insurance. If you bring them, you don't need them.

Spa - you may want to get a treatment, or two... The Spa on the ship is great.

Bring $1 bills for tips for room service.

~ Linda :D
