Another Borrowing Question!!

Hi all. I feel like I should know the answer to this question, but wanted to make sure. My use year is August and I just booked a GV for June 2015. I had to borrow points from my 2015 uy to get the GV. There is a chance that I may have to change to a 2bdrm. If I do, would I be able to use the borrowed points from 2015 for the 2bdrm and than bank the left over points from 2014 into 2015? I know the borrowed points can not be put back into 2015, but do I have to use my 2014 points first? Hope this makes sense and sorry if it's been asked before. I did search the forum and didn't find an answer to this specific question. Thanks all!!

I think about it this way. When you bank or borrow you are changing the points into the new UY. 2015 points are now 2014 points but they can't be changed again.

If you cancel a reservation the points go back into your account where they came from. When you book the new reservation, used the banked or borrowed points first, then the regular points.

Regular points not used can of course be banked.

Thanks Bill, I thought that is what would happen, but just wanted to be sure! Really hoping to keep the GV, but one of the families who is supposed to go might not be able to make it now. Fingers crossed!!

Just be sure that you change to a 2 bedroom before your banking window closes on March 31.
