Another bed question... this time captain's beds

For those "in the know," do you need a special kind of comforter for these beds? In the pictures I've seen, it looks like it might be, but I can't really tell if it is just a twin comforter that is tucked in:scratchin
 
We just have a pottery barn quilt tucked in on my sons. Looks pretty neat, but it is kind of hard to make.

We love it though.....SOOOO much storage for a small bedroom. The only drawback is he tends to use the drawers for steps to get up into his bed, and eventually it will break them. I had to put a step stool there for him.
 
Oh, and to answer your question, as far as I can tell, I have never seen a special comforter, and at the store it is displayed with just a regular one.
 
Travis had one of these beds with 8 drawers beneath, I <i>loved</i> that bed. I think he liked it too.

We just used a regular twin size comforter.
