Sorry if this was asked before. Are we Supposed to Tip the Fairy Godmothers in Training after they finish with the kids?

YES!!!!!!

When BBB first opened they were not allowed to accept tips but now they are allowed to accept tips if it is offered.

There is a great trip report by Megan over on the Trip Report Forum. She is a CP Fairy Godmother In Training who has mentioned how much the FGIT appreciate the tips since many of them are college students.

I felt horrible when I read here on the Dis that they could accept tips now.
I did not even think about offering a tip in January because they had been so insistent on not accepting tips on our previous trip to BBB. Sorry Megan!

You are not required to tip them but since the MK location opened it has been allowed.

Oh no! Now I feel awful. This was Jan 07, and I am pretty sure that I asked and was told not to. I hope that they changed the policy after we were there!

What would be an appropriate tip? A certain percentage of the package you choose? I never know how much to tip.

You could do it as maybe 15-20% of the before tax amount or you could just leave about 10 dollars, but try to decide how you want to do it b/c like I said I tipped the fairy godmother in training who painted her nails and helped get things ready and I tipped the fairy godmother in training who did her hair and makeup.
