Another AP discount on tickets question

Can I purchase a AP and three 7 day passes at the same time and still get the 15% OFF on the day tickets? I am buying my tickets through www.universalorlando.com. Unless there is someplace that is better to purchase tickets--???

or

Do I have to purchase the AP and then wait till I get to US to get the 15% off the day passes?

We want to purchase the AP to get the free parking and then purchase 3 more 7 day park to park passes. However I want the discount too. Is this possible?

The difference in cost is $73.50

AP = $230
7 day/2 park- 2 Adult, 1 kids = $450 x 15% off = $416.50

You could purchase the AP now but the AP discount tickets must be purchased at the gate so you couldn't do those ahead of time. Also...free parking does not apply on the first visit unless you have someone drop you off and then park after you activate the pass. Once you have the AP you can purchase up to six tickets per day with your pass all at either 10% or 15% off the regular price but again...they must be purchased at the gate to get the discount.

I doubt that the Universal website will allow it. If you wanted to buy in advance, your best bet would probably be to purchase your tickets over the phone, but I'm not sure that would work either as your annual pass doesn't get activated until first day of use. So customer service might not allow the discount.

What are the ticket prices at the gate? Are they the same at the prices at universalorlando.com? I found that website through the US website when I clicked into purchase tickets.

My AP arrived today, which I only ordered to get the discount rate at HRH and on the other tickets we need. I was hoping to avoid the lines at the ticket booths, but oh well...

That's the bad part about buying discounted AP tickets. It's happened to me before too. It's just one of those things.
