Another Annoying "will it be crowded" Question

My mom is wondering if June 11-18th will be crowded. I am going with my best friend to celebrate our high school graduation. Our parents are fine with it- we'll both be 18, but they are wondering if it'll be horrible battling the crowds. Anyone who was there around this time period this year (2006), your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, in relative terms it will be crowded then. Some periods are even more crowded (Thanksgiving, Christmas-New Years, President's week in February), but in general the crowd levels are high in mid June.

Yes, and HOT too! With rain in the afternoon, if a Hurricane hasn't hit yet.

FWIW, I think it's much easier to handle the heat & crowds when it's adults only.

Alot of the opinions you will get will be from parents who have a different perspective on dealing with it.
