Another ? about the Kids Club

We have reservations for Palo at the late seating- 9:00 pm. My kids will have to be in the kids club at this time. What time do they close the kids club for the night? Also, do the kids clubs have activities going on until they close, or is night time more unstructured?

The clubs are open LATE every night, until midnight or 1:00 am. For the younger kids around 10:00 or 10:30 they show a Disney movie and put mats out for the kids that want to sleep. But don't be surprised if your kids are still playing happily then, mine wouldn't dare waste a minute of play time sleeping.

I'm new to this and our first cruise is in October.

How did you get reservations to Palo already?

We saw this as one of the better aspects of the kid's club - late night care.
DW and I wanted some "alone time", so we took the kids by the lab and headed down to the piano bar for a drink. As Michelle said, they would never give up play time for sleep (just like at home!) so they were going strong when we picked them up 2 hours later. And yes, you guessed it - 15 minutes after we got back to our stateroom... sound asleep! Well done, Disney!

We were able to get our Palo reservations early because we are traveling with a large group. If you have 8 or more cabins booked, they allow you to do this. Also, if you book a cat. 1, 2 or 3 cabin, they will also allow you to reserve Palo ahead of time. HTH. I'm still curious to know what type of activities the kids club do late at night. My kids are 6 and 10.
