Do you have to put a deposit on an Illuminations dessert party?? How does that work because I heard they can bump you for a convention if you haven't signed your contract. When do you sign the contract and what is the canclelation policy?? TIA!!

I don't think you put a seprate deposit down for the dessert party. I am having one at the lower UK and I didn't put any money down until I got my contract which included the wedding receptoin and dessert party.
I don't know if that helps much!

Hi!
I noticed you are having your wedding at Sunset Pointe... so I'm thinking you are having an Intimate?!?

I booked my DP for my Intimate a couple of weeks ago and my EM told me that the DP will be part of my whole contract with DFTW. There will be an initial $500 deposit and then the remainder (including the DP) will be due 30 days before the wedding.

I was told that I will not have a contract to sign for the whole dealy until the 2007 prices are released.

HTH!

Thanks that was helpful. We are having an intimate but we haven't been able to book yet because it is too far away. It is hard trying to plan everything and not really being able to book anything yet. DFTW just gives me the run around until the date and prices are released. I should be able to book in July or at least I am hoping.

I can empathize with your frustration! I was told that the 2007 DFTW pricing should be released in June, so I've been waiting patiently. But I'm not normally an overly patient person, so it's definitely been a challenge!

Hang in there! :cheer2:
