I have a MYW free dining package that I booked through Disney. I got an email from AAA saying they are offering the same package. But does anyone know if their package is any cheaper than the Disney Package? If it is and there is availablity, I'm still in the window to cancel the Disney package. Does anyone know if AAA can offer this package cheaper?
I'm paying $3275 for 7 nights AKL Deluxe pool view, 2 adults, one junior, one child.
THANKS!

During free dining AAA is no cheaper than booking through disney, It could even be higher if your travel agency charges any fees (some do, some don't)
Druing full price dining times the AAA rate is lower even on packages because they can give you a room discount with a package and no one else can.

I looked at the Disney website which quoted my upcoming trip in August at $1600 and two days later when I booked the exact same package through AAA it was only $1100. I would at least give AAA a call and check their pricing. I used their travel agency in 2004 and we saved quite a bit on 7 nights at AKL.

Well, I did get a AAA quote and it was not discounted any further than to offer free dining. In fact it was about $8.00 more, same dates, same room type?!
However, the AAA agent was really knowledgeable and nice. I feel as if I should book it with her anyway. :)

I have never been charged any fee from AAA so I would call and at least get a quote. I have never went wrong in getting my package with AAA.
I am not going during the free dinning but, I do know that when I picked up my tickets yesterday from AAA, we recieved additional things from AAA themselves...1 free storytelling experience each person, 1 free meal at Planet Hollywood, 1 free item from the gift shop at Planet Hollywood, preferred parking passes etc. This was on top of me saving $300+ over Disney prices.

The Planet Hollywood entree and souvie is a freebie given by Disney for booking packages (and are not exclusive to AAA) the Storytelling experience and the parking pass are.
That parking pass would not do me any good as I use the Disney transportation instead of driving to the parks. Parking is free for resort guests anyway, but it does offer a different parking area.

I assumed they were since I got them and my friend who ordered through Disney on the same day....for the same week did not get them. I do not use the parking passes either but many people do. Another thing you get with AAA is the diamond card good for a slight savings at some places in and around the parks.

Anyone have any idea about the storytelling experience? Not sure if it is something my kids DD12, DS 6 would want to sit through.

I didn't do the storytelling but I did get a great full size plush DIsney Beach towl with Mickey on a surf board ! Love that stuff! Its free its me!

Check if your AAA is having a "Disney Week" or "Disney Days" promotion. There's one going on right now at my AAA where they also give you a nice Disney picture frame.

I booked the package at one of their open houses. If I booked that day the offer also included a $100 rebate. When I got my mail from my neighbor upon our return this past Sunday I noticed the check for $100. It was nice to get money back-every bit helps.
