I'm just waiting for my voucher to get to me. My TA is supposed to fax it when received. I'm doubtful they'll get mine soon.
I have the 9/10 Navigator and would be glad to send anyone a copy of it. Here is what it says on page 2:
"Information Regarding Future Bookings
To take advantage of
Disney Cruise Line's wonderful offer of 25% off your next cruise, we recommend waiting until you return home to book. Once you have received your voucher at home, please call our toll free dedicated
Castaway Club line 1-800-449-3380. This offer far exceeds any previous onboard offers (which are non-combinable) Therefore no cruises will be sold onboard this cruise.
Thank You and Have a Magical Cruise!"
Is anyone aware of restrictions for the 10%/$200 obc onboard booking prior to or immediately following our cruise? I have read where persons booked for after October 1, 2005 on the cruise right after ours with the usual onboard booking offer.
Sounds clear to me. The 25% voucher should be able to be used for any booking that they would have, and should have, offered onboard. Their own word clearly shows they believed that to be the case themselves. If they were misinformed, then we were badly misinformed.
Because I'd have to write them to just get them to consider the usual onboard offer in this matter, I feel they should just honor the 25% off voucher. They created the confusion with their own words in print.
I could be wrong and they did not make any onboard offers for after October 1, 2005 or for any of the other restrictions on that voucher. But, I doubt that.
I had even filled in a request card for Donna while on the 9/4/04 cruise asking for quotes for October 2005. I received a voicemail form her while onboard saying basically what it says in the Navigator. Now, I'm finding out we cannot use the 25% off after October 2005.
Let me say I'm disappointed in
DCL. This is the exact kind of administrative and communication problems that plagued me on that cruise.
I will write to them when I get my voucher about this.
