Ok back to some pictures.


Back at our site this Cardinal was looking for some leftover food.

More photos up shortly, err tomorrow after work.

After not making the playoffs, I'm hoping the Baseball Cardinals follow this little one's lead, and get to Florida early. Maybe spring training should start in November.

Love your report! Great pictures, too. I love the early morning ones. Your campsite setup is very similar to ours and we also are a family of five. Makes me want to go camping!

Another great round of photos!

I really love just seeing "scenery" photos from around the Fort from other times of the year. We generally only go late Oct/Nov/Dec and seeing the Fort so green and in bloom is a real treat.

Maybe some year I'll buy and air-conditioned body suit and venture down in the late summer/early fall.

I agree. It did not make sense to me and I could tell he was being careful not to tell me anything I did not know.

Great report! Thanks for sharing! I agree about everyone keeping the trip reports coming! I have a feeling that you will be there again before we get back though (even though a trip within the next year is in the works). Maybe it is a good thing that we live so far away. I would want to spend all of my time at the Fort.

Thank you sir. Fortunately for me, one of my many useless talents is the ability to memorize movie/tv lines and recite them over and over. So because of this I am familiar with your reference

Oh and I forgot to mention that if you and I are ever at the Fort at the same time, we can take pictures of one another on our early morning photo explorations.

Thanks Lisa. Funny you mention going back soon. I used to want to relocate out of FL somewhere further north like Tennessee or North Carolina, but now that we are in love with camping and are so close to the Fort, I am perfectly content living in FL.
