Annual subscription silliness

I’m anxiously waiting to see what my altafiber bill is going to be now that the promotional time period is over.

I had DirecTV for a while. The first year they included NFL subscription, including Red Zone. No problem, I don't mind it, certainly wouldn't pay for it, but I did like Red Zone and watched that. Well, the next year they auto-renewed the NFL subscription (very pricey), but didn't include Red Zone. I didn't see Red Zone, so figured I was no longer subscribed. Nope - and they would not reverse the charge. DirecTV lost a customer over that one.

I hated directv-always bugging us with phone calls, a pain to get through to any customer service (when I cancelled with them they launched into a sales speel so I told them we were moving 'off the grid' and would'nt have electricity anymore-they shut up and cancelled us quick). I give dishtv credit for not pestering customers (but I would like metv back).

I just renewed at $3.99 plus taxes and fees per month for 12 months. Did it via chat.
