Im still running numbers and I have a few questions I hope you all could help me with.
If I get 1 person in our family an annual passholder will i be able to get discount on all 4 HHN tickets or just the annual passholders ticket?
If I order the annual pass now is it active from today or from first day of use?
And do i already need my annual pass to get the annual passholder discount on hotel?

I believe you get discount on up to 6 tickets.
It'll be active when you enter the park.
You can order the hotel with discount without the pass on hand....you'll just need to show them the pass at the hotel.

What type of discounts do AP holders get on multi-day tickets? Still 15%?

Follow up question: Any clue if the new waterpark will be included in Annual passes? Im guessing not since it says 2 park annual pass which sucks cause my husband is all on board with a spring water park trip if we have annual passes!

UO has not released any info so far on volcano bay park and many are anxiously waiting for that

Closer to completion, we will get the emails about it from UO and see the commercials on tv...

hope they do a paid pass for it and separate from the park admission

Would not want to have an increase in the AP for something I would not be using
I'm excited for it even though I would not Be using it
Peeps are going to thrilled if they love water activities

The water park sounds wonderful and is something that can be used year round

I think that's correct, but it's off the gate price of the tickets. Ordering online gives you something like $20 off the tickets. So do the math as to which discount is better.

Is there anyway to know what the gate price is in advance ?
It really is 20$ cheaper online. So just look at the online and add $20.

Note you do not get discounts on one day tickets. Only multi. Also don't forget tax... It's 12-13% in Orlando? Can anyone verify?

Good information. Can you upgrade a discounted ticket to an Annual Pass? Do they bridge? I have a 30% off offer for 6 tickets I was thinking of using in October. On undercover tourist it shows the one day one park gate price as $116 before taxes. It is off the gate price. Just wondering if I decide to upgrade my ticket to a power pass or preferred pass, will that be doeable. Not sure if they will only take into account what I actually paid for the ticket or the value of the ticket. We let our preferred passes go in January, so now looking at buying new APs. Most likely only one preferred pass for the future parking fee.

Sales tax in Orlando is surprisingly only 6.5%
Good to know. I guess it's lodging tax that is that high. I know the condo we stay at up upwards of 12-13 and I do property management in north FL and they're 12%. Wasn't thinking about the fact that that is lodging not just sales.

No, tax on lodging is 6.5% as well. There is no city sales tax in Orlando....just state (6%) and county (.5%).

That's the way it is at WDW, anyway. I think there is one resort that's partially in another county at WDW that has a slightly higher sales tax rate.

Maybe Universal is in a different county, but I don't think so.

copied this from my confirming email for my rpr booking..
tax is another 12.5% on booked rooms.

the room rates online seem quite decent until you book and the taxes are added on...

The above rate(s) do not include a 12.5% room tax and other taxes associated with this reservation. This rate does not include parking fees.

My apologies...yes, you're correct. There is a 6% occupancy tax, as well.

Yeah I thought so. People always think I'm lying when I tell them tax for the house is 12%! hahaha Ours in Kississimee is 13%
