Remember when people said they would be happy if Disney just released the dates? Good times.

Also, the constant hashing out on how many guests seems like it's really getting no where. Everyone is getting mixed responses and the truth it that no one will know until the link drops. But the instructions say that there will only be one guest per passholder so that seems pretty straightforward to me. Like someone else said, an AP is an AP to Disney. The system may not recognize the age of the individual, just recognize it as a pass.

It makes no sense that a family won’t be able to register in one attempt. It’ll be utter chaos if a 4 person family with children has to log into 2 diff accounts to register- what if they can’t get the same day and time? I know what it says (1 guest) but it is anything but clear and straightforward.

Yep, that's exactly what it says. 1 guest. But they've never made it clear just what a guest is. They clearly don't know as they can't give the same answer twice.
You seem to have it clear, what is the definition of a guest?
Anyone not a member of your MDE?
Anyone?
It has said 1 guest in the past too, by the way. But I was able to include both DH and DGD for Pandora

It's just the "unknown" that is frustrating. The dates helped some people stop their watch, but is a little late in the game (3 1/2 weeks before the first scheduled preview). Releasing the dates a day or two before the signups are active didn't do much but let some people know they definitely could stop their "watch". They should have just released the details and the signups at the same time. *shrug*. Now there is still the anxiety of "if" you will get the e-mail and "if" you can get a spot .. and "if" you can actually sign up your whole family or have to choose. (if that specific detail was known, then a lot of people would probably just write this off too).

As for the "how many guests" thing, yep: speculation. If it is limited to just ONE person (and guest) per MDE account, than their wording should be way more clear. Even then, it seems like an awful limitation that would make it impossible for odd-numbered families (with many minors) to sign up everyone.
I personally think the one guest thing simply means 1 guest outside your MDE account. (To at least allow friends/couples with their own MDE accounts to be able to easily coordinate the same time slot)

You won’t get an email, but you might be able to book the preview. Based on the last AP Preview, those with vouchers were able to book, they just never got the emails since their pass was not activated yet
That’s really interesting to know, thank you. There may be hope yet!

another day of torture! thanks disney! :rolleyes1:headache::surfweb:

Perhaps Disney is intentionally delaying sending out the email or posting the signup link to make people book rooms in advance and in anticipation. Who knows why the do what they do.
