Mine would be, "Florida Man spends way too much time in WDW after becoming Florida Man." Or "Florida Man spends entire life 10 feet in front of family at WDW."

"Florida Man develops carpel tunnel from hitting F5 too many times to refresh a page trying to get into the Galaxy's Edge previews - only to find out they are only offered on days he cannot go"

Why do people think this is going to drop and be like go go go book now? Instead of starting next week on some pre planned day.
I'm not sure I 100% understand your question but for the why do we think it will be go go go book now?
Because every AP event released has booked solid in less than an hour, for an event with fewer fans than SW
Equate this to waiting around for oh, some group of kids waiting on the release of tickets to a Taylor Swift concert to go on sale but they don't know when or how they'll hear, just that it will be soon. And it's for a 1-night show at a sort of small venue. So they'll have to be there when the link to buy drops or they'll miss out because the tickets will sell out.

I don't know what you mean about "starting next week on some pre-planned day" means. I'm sure it is on "some pre-planned day" but no one knows what the pre-planned day is. Only someone at Disney knows and they aren't telling.

The point is everyone is waiting around like when the email comes out that the time to book the event will be as soon as the email comes out.

I would think the email would be a notification of dates, the process and what day that the booking window opens to book as some day in the future.

Looking forward to correcting the 2nd one and actually being able to slow down and just enjoy the parks instead of rushing. Not to mention finally meeting some friends that are as obsessed as we are. :)
OMG...that 2nd one....totally. I hear "Is it possible you could slow down and walk with ME a bit?" about 100 times a trip. Granted, full strides in MK are a rarity, but still..."

That would be the time to book the event. Right when the email comes out. There have only been two passholder preview/post view events and it was always, hey registration is open, go book. This isn’t like DL where they did have a set time the reservation window opened

All the recent Passholder events have been the email comes out book now. Toy Story Land, Pandora, and the VIP nights at MK, Epcot and water parks. So an email with advanced notice would be very different than disney's typical process.

Oh, no. We are thinking that because this is how it is. When they send the email it's "go, now, book".
Just like in the example I gave for concert tickets. When they open the link, it's a free for all.

they have tried the "post the date and time that registrations will open" before and that has been a huge mess with the app and website crashing and lots and lots of frustration . With a "surprise" element only the obsessed, I mean, loyal fans will be on the lookout and the registration runs smoother

The fact remains that Disney COULD easily announce the "sign up" date .. but feels like this is an IT "crowd control" issue. By not announcing it, they know they wont' have thousands of people waiting to make their reservation at the EXACT SAME TIME (you know . .like people already do for their Fast Passes, Dining reservations, etc.).

Oh, no. We are definitely defined under the ‘obsessed’ category😂

It wasnt like that for Pandora or other Passholder events, that's why.

That's not how it works.... It's immediately open to book once it goes live (random) and fills up quickly. There's no warning.

The email will have a link that takes you to the registration page. If you don’t register right away you will miss your chance.
This is how every other similar event has occurred.
