Yeah. I was thinking that it was only me who was going crazy with the notifications only to find there was no news.

Any way a moderator could create a new thread that we couldn’t post to, just for the announcement of the link availability, and other actual news on the previews? Then we could keep this one for continued random commiseration and know that an alert for the other thread meant there was actually an update with substance. @rteetz ?

They have already said they do not want to do this as they do not and can not be responsible to be available to post the link when it comes out

One of the mods posted their reservations with that.
Means that either the thread is locked and everyone relies on one (or few) mods being able to update it with the link .... only AFTER they register themselves, of course.

Or the thread is unlocked and everyone will post in there anyway.

Just face it, you are going to have to do some of the work if you want to register.

I don't believe we will create one. We didn't for any of the other previews/AP events.

There's truly no way to keep everyone happy. Last night was a glitch, but if people did end up getting through and no one posted about it, people would be so upset they missed it.

Ah well...it was worth asking. Everyone’s points make sense, it’s just frustrating. We Canadians can’t receive any of the emails or mailings (Disney has decided that they violate our anti-spam laws, even if we specifically request them) so we have to rely on seeing the link posted here.

While I do not think people should post here unnecessarily when I get a notification i just go to the very last post. This is all a crap shoot for all of us. shifting thru a couple of pages of this thread to get a link won't make a difference in the grand scheme of things if you are late to the draw in the first place. Plus someone on here could be providing additional insight we would not be privy to if someone just has a thread with a post of the "official"

link. May the force be with all of us and I truly hope we all get a spot.. but the truth of the matter is someone of us will not. Enjoy the ride until then.

If scrolling through a few pages to get to a link that's posted gets you into this event or at least a better chance of it than any other way, doesn't seem like a lot of trouble to me.

Ok, so if this doesn't drop today, do people think there's much of a chance of it dropping over the weekend. Can we safely walk away from the computer? I didn't think Disney usually dropped stuff on the weekend, but my memory isn't the best.

Mine stop from time to time too as does the notification here. I click unwatch, then watch again and it starts back up. Honestly, for me, keeping this thread loaded and refreshing from time to time is the only sure way to get the information asap. Getting into these events is hard work and time consuming. There is no easy way except pure luck.

Not that Disney follows any logic on a normal basis, but I would think this would drop during "normal M-F 8a-5p hours" only because you're going to want your best IT people on hand for this, and those are probably the people who have earned the day shift.
