I went to bed yesterday and woke up to 10 unread pages. Who needs coffee when you thought you missed the signup overnight haha :stitch2:

Man, and I thought I was nuts. I figured there was no way Disney would drop the link after 5 and didn't even check last night. I nearly had a heart attack when I got to my computer this morning and saw how many pages there were. If they release it outside of office hours I figure I'm just SOL. I really hope they don't do that.

I was panicking my whole drive to work afraid it would drop while I was driving. This is like a support having all you guys going through the same thing!

Time for a do over thread. People trying to catch up on this will go bonkers.

Yeah. I was thinking that it was only me who was going crazy with the notifications only to find there was no news.

Any way a moderator could create a new thread that we couldn’t post to, just for the announcement of the link availability, and other actual news on the previews? Then we could keep this one for continued random commiseration and know that an alert for the other thread meant there was actually an update with substance. @rteetz ?

Might not be a bad idea once the actual link is released, every subsequent poster to this thread could end there post by copy/pasting the link at the bottom or their post. Play an online game of telephone. That way no matter where someone looks they will find the link

This topic came up the other day. I like the concept in theory but a separate thread would depend on a TPAS mod to be around to unlock a thread, post to it, etc.

I’m not so sure I want that kind of pressure as none of us are just sitting around the DIS all day watching every second. We could just as easily miss when things come out as anyone else.

The deal with these things is if you aren’t online at the time or within hours, it will fill up and will have passed you by. That’s the unfortunate reality of it. News distribution will inevitably be chaotic, random, and inefficient, for better or worse.
