Not to highjack the conversation here but since the AP is activated in the park what about that first time you go...do you have to pay or can you show the paperwork that you are a AP? We are staying off property for our next trip and one reason why we are getting AP was for the free parking.

Pay to park, keep your receipt, then when you activate your AP at guest service show them the receipt and they'll give you a full refund.

Or you can activate your pass at Disney Springs where it's free to park

We both got our magnets on the same day, but not until after we'd renewed them the first time. We haven't gotten anything else since then.

We have magnets but didn't receive Magic Band sliders because they were out of stock (per the insert in our magic band box). I'm going to try to remember to swing by and pick up sliders at Guest Services when we are there next month.

We received our magnet a couple weeks after activating our AP's and returning from our trip, along with a 'Thank you Card' from the gang!! ;-)

Then, a couple weeks later received another set of MB's along with the sliders.

If guest service has any you'll be the first I've seen get them from guest service.

We got APs in February. We got fridge magnets mailed to us in March. No car stickers. So I bought some on etsy. They look legit lol and were only 3 bucks

Ok thanks everyone! I'll create magicbands to see if I can get the sliders they look nice. Maybe something will eventually show up, I'd like to show the world I'm an annual passholder lol.

The sliders are useful, because I often forget to ask about the annual passholder discount when dining, but I notice the slider when I go to charge to my magic band and can ask for the discount then.

Someone stole our magnet off car so we purchased decal one from etsy for 3$ You can get multiple colors too!

DW and I got two of the new, orange AP magnets about 6 weeks after we renewed our FL resident AP's onsite.

We have received the AP magnets most years. Up until this year just one per year.

As previous posters have noted, the AP communications seem to be a bit... variable. I never get any emails even though I have signed up for electronic communication. We get the occasional newsletter via the mail.

Was there 2 weeks ago to try to get my AP slider guest relations said they didnt have any and no timetable when they would get them.

On a side note, after seeing the Pandora AP magicband I bet Disney will switch to imprinting the words "passholder" onto the bend instead of the slider in the future.

We never got our car magnet last set of APs and forgot to order our magic bands from our APs since we stayed onsite twice during our AP year so never got our sliders either.
I just bought the magnet off eBay last night. We got new APs this year and hopefully they send the magnet so I can have 1 for each car

My car magnet was sent a month after I activated. But someone stole it off my car I was so sad.

I don't know how they decide to send them. I've had AP for 4 years total, I think. I believe I bought new AP 3 times and renewed one of them. I was sent 2 AP magnets total, by mail.
