Hi everyone!

We have a package booked through Disney for August 2017, however we plan on going back again in April 2018.
Is it possible to upgrade our tickets to annual Passes? Or is it not worthwhile to do that as we would only be using them for two holidays? I'm not sure if it would be a better saving to buy separately?

Thank you

You can upgrade when you get to WDW by tjust going to Guest Services.
When we looked, it paid for itself to get an annual pass if you are staying over 3 weeks in a year.

I am planning on doing the same thing in august as we are going back in January. I have read a lot about asking around at different guest services to get a good price but when I spoke to disney on the phone they said you just pay the difference between the uk ticket and the annual pass and with the exchange rate at the moment I'm not sure it will make much difference than buying another 14 day pass.

Will just have to see what they say in august.

In theory you are correct, you should just pay the difference. Problem is each Cast member enters it into the computer differently. We asked everywhere, 2 or 3 gave same price but Hollywood Studios gave us lowest price, some said it wasn't possible.

yes, it's sort of a game of cast member roulette..
last time i had to do this, the very first CM i asked knew exactly what it was, what to do, did it quickly without any issues....
i was SHOCKED!!! as it hadn't ever happened before...
i even mentioned it and he just gave me this sort of knowing smile.....
it made me laugh at the time..
i think it was at the magic kingdom.....which is why i was super surprised as i'd had really bad experiences there in that past..
but there's just no way of knowing....definitely CM roulette....
