Annual passes for DVC members questions

I know that we can get a discount on the annual pass, but I just read in the mousesaver newsletter about a special promotion about passes being good for 15 months now, but only for renewals or fla. residents. I was wondering if anyone was able to get an annual pass with dvc discount and get the 15 month. I wasn't planning to get a pass this year, we are going in November this year, but may not go again until Feb. 2011. But if the pass is good for 15 months, then that might actually work for us for the two trips.....

There is a lengthy old thread that discusses this 15 month AP. It is for renewals only. The passes must expire September 1st or later. You must renew within 30 days before your current passes expire. We got all excited as we plan on buying our first AP next year and then found out it was for renewals only.

Thanks for the input. I already bought 7 day tickets for this trip before the price increase so we are ok this year. Not sure when we are going next year so it may not have worked for us even with the 15 month window. Can't wait for this trip though only 52 days to go!
