Annual Passes and Room Discounts Question

Hi,

I am getting prepared for a trip in early July and plan to buy my first annual pass shortly. When do the room discounts come out for annual passes and do I have to activate mine first to qualify or just purchase one? I want to make sure I'm ready lest I miss out.

When the discount is going to be released is the $64,000 question. I anticipate the discount for the summer months will be out by mid-March (hopefully sooner).

You don't have to have the pass to make the reservation with the discount. You only need it when you check in at the resort. As to whether it has to be activated, depends on the CM checking you in. Some will accept the voucher and ask you to stop by after you have it activated and others will insist it has to be activated. Mostly, you will find that you aren't asked for the pass at all.

I just got off the phone with Jackson from ressies. I already have a ressie, but inquired when AP rates will be out he said not until mid-April. That is for mid June ressie I was inquiring about. May & early June may be out sooner I don't know. Then there is always the question if Jackson even knows for sure.
