Annual Pass

We have decided that we are going to get Annual Passes for Disney as we are there for three weeks and planning on going back next year.

Can we only do this through Disney? Can you still use the Disney Club Card for discounts?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I beleive you can only get the Annual Passes through Disney. I think Disney Club ends in December, but if you are a member until then you will still get your discount.

I got my annual pass at downtown disney using my Disney Club Card. Think you can also get them at disney store at Orlando airport.

I've just ordered our annual passes to get the disney club discount and take advantage of the good exchange rate. I phoned the number on the back of the card. They came within 5 days - I think we were charged $3 postage! They are just the normal annual passes - not the premium ones and for 2 adults I have been charged £469 - just got the credit card bill yesterday. We are not going till July 2004 but it is one less thing to pay for!

I always thought you had to be a Florida resident to buy an Annual pass, or are they just cheaper annual passes ?

Anyone know a web address where I can look into buying a couple of these ?

That's right - if you are a Florida resident you can get an AP that's even cheaper than the 'regular' AP.

Infact, there are two types of Annual Passes available to everyone to buy. The normal AP gives you unlimited access to the 4 main parks for a year and the Premium Annual Pass gives you admission to the 4 parks, the 2 water parks, Disney Quest and Pleasure Island.

You can find details at Disney.com, but you might have to make out you're in the States as last time I looked they'd removed that option from the UK version in order to push the 10 day pass. If you want to buy your AP's in advance of your trip, you can ring Disney direct and they'll mail you vouchers which you can exchange at the ticket window at any park or DTD for the activated pass.

Oh, and you also get with both passes a number of discounts on shopping, restaurants and subject to availability - substantial room discounts.
