Annual Pass

My parents bought at BLT for both my brother and I. I would like to get the DVC Annual pass discount to use, however my parents won't be traveling with us. I called once, and they said I have to pay over 400 to get my name on the contract. That was the only way. Anybody have experience with this?

Do you live at the same address? Others have reported being able to get it if you bring a copy of their member card. They will pull up their membership and verify that the address matches your ID.

Have your parents call ahead to Member Services to purchase before you go. Mention they are purchasing the annual pass for a family member living in the same household. They will need to designate who will be picking up the pass. They will give a confirmation # for the purchase and notate who will be picking up the pass. You may need to carry a copy of the cc used for the purchase ( or at least know the last 4 digits).
I did this for my daughter who was arriving a day earlier than DH and I. She still has our last name and she lives at home, so her ID has the same address. I made a copy of my CC, blocking out all but the last 4 digits along with our DVC member card. They did not ask her for it, even though MS said they may. It was an easy process.
