I have the Disney Visa Card and I love the park benefits I get from that, however, I am thinking of upgrading to a Deluxe annual pass when I go on the 29th since I am going again in September and it would save me some money. What benefits does having the Deluxe annual pass give you, that you dont get from the Disney Visa?

Thanks!

You get 10% discount at most (all?) of the restaurants at both parks and also some discounts at places in DTD. You don't get a discount on merchandise unless you have a premium AP. You can also get AP rates at the hotels.

I have the Disney Visa card but have no idea what park benefits I can get at DL with it. What are they? We will be visiting DL in August and I'm really looking forward to it.

Snagged from a post Tracer posted with specific reastraunt info. Thanks to her. :thumbsup2

You can also get two free stroller rentals at either park. DCA also has the Disney Visa Meet N Greet where you can go and have one on one time with a character, normally Chip and Dale or Pluto, and recieve a coupon for a free 5x7 picture from the meet and greet. There will be a photopass photog there at all times. The meet and greet was located in the round enclosed pavilion just to the left of Monsters Inc. When we went in December the hours were opening until 12 noon. They had extended the hours because of many requests to do so. I wish that I had known about that earlier. If you were in Disneyland it was hard to get over there before it ended withou being rushed. You can go once a day and get the coupon for each day. Although the coupon says to use that day we have had no problems waiting until the last day to go get the pics. Just make sure you give yourself time to do it. Some cast mates will let you chose a different pic besides the ones from the meet n greet but that is the luck of the draw.

So pretty much the only difference benefit wise is the hotel perks right?

I think that you get discounts at more restaurants with the AP. I didn't compare lists but the list that was posted for the Visa benefits didn't seem very long and we got a discount at Blue Ribbon Bakery and Storytellers. There is a list on the Disneyland website that you can look at that tells the places you get a discount with the AP.

You get 10% off at most of the Disney shops if you spend $50 or more with the Visa as well. Including the Disney Store online and in local malls.
